Healing

The proccess,
it feels like forever,
picking up the broken pieces,
gluing them together,
just for them to fall apart on a random day,
“I thought I fixed it, I thought it’s okay”
I break, and break, and break some more,
never fully repaired,
always missing a piece,
the piece was you,
without it I fall apart,
crumbling,
learned to live with it,
there will always be something missing,
fill it with distractions,
hoping tomorrow will be easier,
I repair the broken pieces,
on my own,
the pieces you broke,
and left stranded.

Working out, reading books, taking naps, and drawing mostly. I started new hobbies which helps me distract from the pain.

i’ve been there too… sometimes it helps to let yourself feel the cracks instead of forcing them to fix. distractions work, but your heart needs time to breathe
