How easy is it for you to move into a new relationship after a breakup where you felt a lot, but it couldn't go on?And how do you experience a breakup in comparison to women?

are you asking this ‘cause you’re thinking of seeing someone new? or just wondering if others process it the same way?
I want to see how men experience breakups compared to us women.
i’ve learned it’s better to wait till the feelings stop bleeding into everything new. doesn’t matter if it takes months. rushing into something usually just reopens old stuff.
I believe that if you're not generally well in your life, you can't be well with the other person either... and therapy helps with that, but not everyone accepts that they need it... that's the problem.
honestly… not easy at all. after my last breakup, i thought i was ready to date again, but i caught myself comparing everyone to her. it’s like my mind moved on but my heart didn’t get the memo
I firmly believe that the next person you meet after a breakup "pays" for all your broken pieces... and that is so unfair both to you and to them
according to my guy friends they said after a break up they tend to distract themselves, they would drink, have fun, and even dating someone after thr break up. they would deny the feeling of breaking up with someone and then the longer they ignore it, the painful it is when they feel the silence. it's not like women who would cry and then movin on. they completely do the opposite, that's why some men are coming back to their exes after a month or a year because that's the time it sinks in that they are loosing someone
I agree with that too... basically, everyone has their own timeline for this. But is there ever a time when you get over it 100%? I'm starting to doubt it...
@WildHug913 yes there is, but it would take years to fully accept it and let go
@Aiiiiiiiii omg I am going to kill myself 😂
my ex is probably already dating like nothing has ever happened and surrpressing everything just usual...🥲 and it hurts and i miss WHAT WR COULD HAVE HAD but never a lot. today is a hard day. 22 days no contact and it doesnt really get better :(
me too i even meet the girl he is moving on in the gym, it’s hard to describe my feeling, i don’t know how to deal with that, so i ignore them, but it hurts :(
It really depends. But generally, men are tend to hide their emotions therefore they feel a deeper pain that last longer than women I think. You cant see it in their daily life but they remember even years later after a breakup.
how real is this..
