So a week ago I was checking messenger (my ex blocked me on Facebook n messenger after an argument) and I outta the blue can text him! I'm unblocked on messenger: can react, message, but no access to his profile.
Today I decided to message him. Yet my message was sent and on sent status for 5 hours. He was online an hour ago (checked from mom's fb who is friends with him) yet my message didn't switch to delivered. What would that mean??? Help m panicking !!!

hey, are you trying to get closure or just seeing if he’ll respond? knowing that might help figure out the next step.
t might just be a glitch or his privacy settings. try not to overthink it, your peace is more important than checking every little sign.
my ex blocked me after a fight too. one time my message stayed “sent” for hours, i panicked so hard. it’s so confusing, i feel you.
why is your mom still friends with your ex? He's purposely leaving it there until he reads it.
only on messenger, she didn't know.
also if it's not on delivered m like wondering does that means he did it on purpose? that is still better than knowing that the message isn't received at all..
Maybe it was sent to message requests and he has not checked that tab. don’t panic. put your mind in other things to direct the focus on yourself.
