he just woke up and told me he didn't want to be in a relationship anymore

I still don't understand why I keep on asking why he left and he says he doesn't want to date but If I want to date I should move on with someone else did he ever love me? been together for three years idk how to cope with this . please tell me it gets better with time . how could he just switch up on me like that

have you been able to talk to anyone you trust about how sudden this felt? sometimes saying it out loud makes it a tiny bit less heavy.
yes I did it felt somehow relieving but I'm still not over it
time honestly does help, even if it doesn’t feel like it now. journaling or just letting yourself cry and vent helps me process the shock of someone leaving like that.
