i still have a little hope that we're gonna come bsck to eachother someday, maybe not this year but when we both heal from everything in our lifes. tho im scared that im the only one thinking that way and she’s already looking for someone else.

i get the hope, really. for me, focusing on healing myself first helped calm the anxiety about what they were doing. you can care without losing yourself in the waiting.
i held onto hope for months after my ex and me broke, thinking maybe we’d find our way back… it’s painful feeling like you might be alone in that thought.
“I think that too, but I’ve been waiting for almost 5 months and he still hasn’t reached out, so I think maybe I’m the problem. 😞”
