I personally don't think you should be embarrassed. there's nothing wrong with still missing someone, doesn't matter how long it's been. if it still hurts, then it hurts and it's okay to admit that. It gives strength to be able to admit when you miss someone or how you feel.

@Suly I don't think he hates you baby, I think that he also needs space from you too, so that's probably why he didn't answer, because if he did he probably knew he would fall back for you. OR, he simply did not answer because he didn't see the call
Don't be embarrassed because you care and try to be a kind person. I think you feel rejected but just thank yourself that you are kind and accept that people can refuse the offer too. Let them be.
