We were together for 6 month.
My x used to meet me only once a week, He plans the date and text me everyday but not a good morning or good night text, just updates and he called me maybe three times while we were together. He introduced me to his friends, he brings me small gift when he go to his home country. He compliments me sometimes and he wasn't good with his communication so he rarely says i miss you or i like you.
I felt he is so special because because my pasts were worse...
so is this bare minimum or he was really doing special things?

from my experience, small gestures matter, but if the communication or emotional effort feels missing, it’s okay to question if it’s enough for you
what does emotional effort mean?
i’ve been there 😩 my ex also barely texted but showed up in small ways… made me wonder if it counted as love or just “enough” to keep me attached.
