I think both, but mostly I feel calm
yeah, that line says it all. whenever i start missing someone who hurt me, i remind myself of what i’ve already survived. kinda resets everything in my head.
i remember reading something like that after my breakup and it felt like a punch a reminder of my own strength. we really do carry so much and still heal somehow
