sometimes the “please come back” only shows up when they realize they lost control, not when they’ve actually grown. take your time before answering anything. exhaustion is a sign you’ve already given too much
i remember begging someone who gave me nothing and then suddenly when i finally walked away, they wanted me back. it’s such a weird pain… you want to believe they changed, but your heart’s just exhausted
