one of my biggest hurdles about this break up is that I'm 100 percent going to hear about her and see her at work. what do I do if I hear that she slept with someone? how do I handle that?

do you think there’s any way you could minimize how much you hear about her at work? like maybe setting some quiet boundaries or shifting who you talk to about her?
when that moment comes, it’s gonna sting. there’s no way around it. what helped me was reminding myself that what she do now doesn’t erase what i felt or gave. try not to feed the thought spiral. walk it off text a friend leave the space if you can.
my ex and i worked in the same building. hearing whispers about him with someone else felt like getting punched in the gut every time. i started leaving early or changing my routine just to breathe again. it gets a bit easier once your mind stops expecting updates but that takes time.
