I'm moving out from the city and I wanted to send him one last message before I go but I'm blocked everywhere (I asked him to block me so I wouldn't unblock him and repeat the cycle) except for one of his social media. I sent my message there but it seems to be stuck in his message request. I want him to see it. Should I send him a friend request so my message pop up? I don't want to appear as desperate though

Update: he read my messages and replied. He was defensive at first but we had some life update. We ended up having a video call and he expressed his vulnerable openly

not seeing him or messaging him is a closure by itself.
