do you still bump into him sometimes or just knowing he’s close makes it harder?
that part always hits hardest the “never again” part. what helped me was slowly reclaiming the places he used to be in. like walking past his street and reminding myself it’s my neighborhood too.
my ex used to live like 2 streets away and i’d catch myself looking out the window hoping i’d see him walk by. it’s the worst when the distance isn’t distance, yk? just memories haunting every corner

we were together but never lived together he was just at my house every day
