what do you think you’re hoping to see on his story? like… are you curious if he’s sad too, or do you just miss the feeling of being connected to him?
if you’re already asking whether to see it, it probably means part of you knows it’ll hurt. i’ve learned that when i’m tempted to “just check,” what i really want is connection, not content.
when my ex blocked me everywhere except one app, i’d stare at that tiny circle wondering if i should look. i finally did once, and it just wrecked me all over again.
if seeing his story is going to hurt you, don’t do it.
