So I didn't see his truck and he has taken over the only other Restaurant in my small community so I thought it was safe to go get a taco I walked in sat down and waitress that I know forever says 'is he still be a butt' I turned around and there he was so I say I thought you were next door- and got up and left no dinner' did I do the right thing? I sure as fuck didn't want to be in same space as him

yeah you did the right thing. when it’s fresh, even seeing them can throw your whole day off. trust your gut, distance helps more than we realize.
my ex showed up at my favorite coffee spot one morning and i literally froze. ended up leaving my drink untouched. it’s okay to protect your peace like that
