when you reached out, were you hoping for closure or just… some sign he still cared? sometimes the reason we reach out says a lot about what we’re actually grieving.

acceptance is the key. it’s so hard to accept their feelings changed. but you only can control your own emotions and reactions.
when i was in that place, i kept reminding myself that love doesn’t disappear just because someone doesn’t choose us back. it just softens over time. letting yourself feel it without chasing them helped me breathe again.
