So he replied to something I posted. And I engaged. Then we started talking, then we spoke in person. Things were good. My intention when talking to him, was to end things on a good note, not to fix things. I did it because he's flying back home and I knew it would be the last time I'd see him for a while (we're in the same friend group).
Then I found out, I'll actually see him for the last time tomorrow. So we spoke for the past few days about certain issues we had. It was fine. Then today I spoke to him and he was extremely dismissive. So now things were left on a bad note💀

when he got dismissive, did it feel like something triggered him or did it feel like he was trying to pull away on purpose?
when someone switches up like that, i try to remind myself it’s not about me. sometimes people get weird when goodbyes feel too real. you don’t have to chase a clean ending. messy endings are still endings.
my ex would be warm one day then cold the next, like he wanted to control the final vibe. it messed with my head so bad. that “last time” energy hits different too
He does not want you and he's just wasting your time. probably what he said when you are on good terms is a total lie... from my own experience because I have been in that same situation, I would advise you to stop waiting for him... and to start healing... and also to accept that he's gone forever...
Yes I think you're right. I don't want this back and forth and uncertainty. I will just forget him.
