Well, as I said on my previous post, I believe I'm starting to heal. But the path is not lineal so two days ago I paid for a tarot reading, just to know how are we doing. You know, find answers when you can't get them from their mouth. Anyways, I was shocked when the cards said he had the potential to be a star, light in my life and bring happiness in his best form. "How?" I thought to myself. He only had hurt me. I overthinked until I decided to canalize all of that into a poem. Mixing the tarot theme with references to Silent hill 2, his favorite videogame, that btw, I watched recently the hole gameplay to understand why he connected so much with the game and his protagonist. Now I know (spoilers ahead) They are the same. They both did horrible things to their loving one. So, this is the result. Hope you like it:
Cards say you could be a star
you know? That's sad
I only knew the moon
Dressed as a fool
The future was dark
Still, I kept the spark
Tell me my dear
Why did you disappear?
The mist won't let you see
The truth is underneath
You tricked me to believe
You were made for me
The devil walks by your side
Don't act like you deserve
Release from your sins
You killed me on that hill

when you watched the gameplay and saw the parallels, did it make you feel more angry or more… relieved that it wasn’t about you?
More angry cause I saw them in us, I hated see myself on the women characters. It felt like I played a role in some kind of play I didn't even know anything about. That's as poetic as sad.
pouring it into a poem was such a solid move. whenever my brain started spiraling with “why did he do this,” i’d write it out instead of trying to decode him. it helped me see me again, not him.
i did a tarot reading once when my ex wouldn’t give me answers too. it’s wild how the cards will hype their “potential” when all you ever lived was their damage. that poem hit because it’s exactly that mix of grief and clarity.

I believe in tarot cards to use them as a guidance or advice. not to predict the future. they have helped me to understand my situation better.

I read tarot myself and for me is a way to reflect and think about the decisions we shall take. To be honest they've never been wrong.
