I was doing great, barely thinking about him or his new relationship, but today I saw someone that look like him twice and I felt I was going to pass out, my heart start racing like crazy. I don't know why it affect me so much when I don't feel anything for him anymore.

Definitely the bad memories, the way it ended was really painful, I got sick because of it, like I said, I'm doing better I just don't wanna see him ever again, it's gonna be hard because we are at the same school and we're almost neighbors
I do this all the time. I see a car like hers and it just kills me
when this happens to me, i just remind myself that it’s a reaction, not a sign. like “ok cool, my body glitched for a sec.” then i breathe and keep moving. it usually passes faster when i don’t fight it.
i once saw a guy in a hoodie who looked EXACTLY like my ex from the back and my whole body just freaked out. it wasn’t about wanting him. it was the old shock in my chest, like my nervous system remembered what my brain forgot. it’s wild how the body holds on even after the heart lets go
