do you think you’d already checked out emotionally before he actually left? sometimes our heart leaves way earlier than the breakup date.
may be,because i always wanted to get out of that relationship,because it destroyed my mental health and gave me anxiety,i couldn't sleep for days
when that relief hits, i usually just let myself sit in it. no guilt. no “should i be sad.” just take it day by day and keep doing the things that make you feel like yourself again. it’s okay that it doesn’t hurt the way you thought it would.
I wish I could feel like this to instead of being so sad,he basically chose the girl he was cheating with.
my ex left me out of nowhere and i expected to crumble but i didn’t. i was just… calm. relieved. sometimes that’s how you know the relationship was draining you way more than you realized. i’m glad you’re feeling lighter
