so 2weeks before exams she was silent and looked off i asked her and she said everything is ok and i knew it wasnt so a random saterday she sent me a text that said we should go on a break so that she can fokus on exsams.I said ok then later that week i head from her friend she is not herself and her father said she must fokus on her exams now and not on me then i think now 5 dec 2 days after her last exams to contact her. and i dont know it this effect her different but she has adhd and i gave everything she gave me back to her so i can also fokus ons exam and heard from her friend she cried in class so im also a bit confused any help?

has she ever been open with you before about how stress or exams affect her? like does she usually shut down or pull away when things get heavy?
one time she talked to me about something that scares her but i knew something was off with her about this
my ex pulled the whole “i need to focus on exams” thing too, and i could feel something was off even when she kept saying she was fine. that confusion after giving them space is so real, especially when you hear from people around them that they’re crying or acting different. it messes with your head because you don’t know if you should hold on or let go. i’m sorry you’re sitting in that weird limbo.
