Why does nobody talk about how hard it is to go through a breakup especially when we shared mutual friends and how hurtful it is seeing some of those people pick sides lol….like I’m hurt as well heartbroken too lol

have any of them actually checked in on you, like even once, or is everyone just pretending you’re fine?
nope not one single ‘friend’ checked on me to see how I’m doing except for obviously a couple of really close buddies
making small distance from the friend group for a while. not cutting them off, just giving myself space so their choices didn’t sting as much.
My ex put me through a smear campaign and I lost most of them. walked mostly alone over 2.5 years
when me and my ex split, half our “mutuals” suddenly forgot i existed. it’s wild how people pick a side like it’s a sport. i remember feeling stupidly hurt even though i tried to act cool.
