I love Jingle Jangle from Trader Joe’s. I saw it for the first time in store Saturday. My ex and I would eat that stuff all the time. i would hide it so he didn’t eat it all and it was a running joke between us. telling you all because i don’t want to reach out to him and it makes me sad what once was a fun memory is now just a sad one 😿

does seeing it make you miss him, or just miss the version of life where that joke still existed?
i try to just let it be both things at once. like yeah it hurts now, but it was real joy once. you don’t have to reach out just because the memory got loud again.
i had this stupid little snack my ex and i used to fight over and it used to make me laugh. after we broke up i saw it in a store and it legit punched me in the chest. it’s wild how something tiny can hold a whole relationship in it
