he’s on a sports team at my school as someone reposted a post from the team. I clicked out of curiosity and then found myself looking for him in all the school post, tagged post, and even went and looked at his roster info. it’s been 45 days and I’ve been doing better I think with the acceptance of the end but idk why I longed to see him today. I think I realize I haven’t seen him in almost two months and I lowkey don’t know what he looks or sounds like anymore.

when you saw his pics again, did it make you feel closer to him or just… kinda empty after? sometimes that feeling says a lot about where you’re actually at.
I felt like I was missing out on something like the thought of not knowing him anymore or how he’s changed or things that are going on right now
on days like that i usually just remind myself the urge is gonna pass. it always does. you’re not messing up your progress, it’s just one of those “damn i miss the idea of him” moments.
i did the same thing with my ex’s college team page, scrolling through every tag like i was gonna find some sort of closure in a photo. it’s wild how the missing-him hits out of nowhere.
