did you ever feel, even a little, that something didn’t add up when she left? or did this hit you completely out of nowhere like a punch to the chest?
what helped me was realizing the speed wasn’t love, it was avoidance. some people can’t sit with guilt or grief, so they jump. it doesn’t make it hurt less, but it made it make sense for me
fuck… this hurt to read. i went through almost the same thing. my ex leaned on “mental health” and sadness, then boom, new person surfaced. four years too. that whiplash messes with your head BAD.
