After 15 years of marriage, my wife has separated from me and wants a divorce as well as the sale of the house.
How did you manage to pull yourselves out of this shock?

are you safe right now? like, is there someone you could reach out to tonight and tell them you’re really not okay, even if you don’t know what you need yet?
when i was in that terrified place, the only thing that helped was not being alone with it. i didn’t solve anything. i just made sure someone knew how bad it was getting. a friend. a sibling. anyone. it kept me here on the worst nights.
