Sparks

Author

After being burnt out all through this year, I'm trying to slowly get my spark back. I used to be interested in trying out so many things like writing books, improving my drawing, learning a computer skill, creating comics and many more.... but honestly I couldn't achieve anything due to my depression then the break up came in as well.
so imagine how messed up my mind has been.
Hopefully I'll get myself back without thinking about how heartbroken I am cus I realized that if I don't keep myself busy, my depression will kick in then I'll go back to remembering him and how it ended.

what’s one thing you used to love doing that you can try for just 10 mins today? sometimes tiny sparks reignite everything

i love drawing but I certainly won't be done in 10 minutes.
I'm writing a book and I'm trying to write a chapter per day.

just take baby steps. even small things count. doing one tiny creative thing daily can help your mind stop looping on them

How long have you both been together? sometimes you need to think about things for things to get better, think of it as temporary pain for a happier future

we were together for 9 months...long distance actually.
we were meant to see each other for the first time on our 1st anniversary 😅

@EpicJourney I understand what long distance means, my ex and me were also long distance, you have to be strong, go out with friends, with your pets and most importantly cry all you need, it's a way for us to let go, it hurts to think about it and cry but everyone needs to do it to get through it, bottling everything up makes it explode
