I ended a relationship about four months ago with my ex. Toward the end of our time together he began treating me very poorly on an emotional level. After the breakup he kept pressuring me to get back with him switching between messages full of love and extremely aggressive ones. On several occasions he even threatened to kill himself if I didn’t agree to reconcile.
I blocked him but since then he has sent me over 100 emails. In those messages he would swing from saying things like you’re the love of my life please let’s get back together to you’re a whore you ruined my life. Recently a friend spoke with his siblings and since then he has stopped contacting me but I’m not sure if this is truly over or if he might start again.
Several people have advised me to consider reporting him but I feel uncertain about what the right step is.

If you feel unsafe or worried for your own wellbeing please report it. There are way too many cases where reporting would’ve been the right thing to do
