did he mention why he’s asking for it back, or is it just a “what now” situation?
honestly, it’s up to you if returning it feels like giving away your peace, don’t. your feelings matter more than the ring.
i went through something similar he ended it without reason. i kept the ring, it felt like my closure, not his.
most women don't give the ring back because it was given to them so technically it's yours to do what you want with it.
say you threw it out because screw him
