reading a very good fiction novel helps healing (to me it did, because I learned from the characters of the book)

was there a character or moment in a book that hit you like “damn, that’s me” or showed you a different way to heal?
through the book, I followed the thoughts and choices of the main character. since the character's personality is so different than mine, I learned from her experiences. and since the novel is really good, what I learned feels relevant to me
this helped me too. sometimes stepping into someone else’s story gives your heart a break from replaying your own. even a few pages can feel like relief
same here ❤️ reading fiction saved me when i couldn’t deal with my own thoughts. i got so attached to the characters that i learned how to survive through them when i didn’t know how myself.
I also find that reading helps alot to take my mind off the situation. What is the name of the novel?
Pride and prejudice - Jane Austen. So worthy. It actually reminds you how to love properly
@JunoNote3 OH I bought this book recently but haven't gotten around to it yet! I'm excited to read it now.
@GentleHeart6 my opinion is you won't regret reading it, I found it an amazing book
