Basically the title. I only blocked him on social media because I could still see him liking and commenting on stuff, even after I have muted him. I did not block him on messaging app so if he wanted to reach out he still could. I did not expect him to notice or even say anything. Turns out he reached out to a mutual friend to check up on me the same day I blocked him. I just wished he could just ask me himself instead. I don't really know what this means or how to feel.

I didn't block him everywhere, just on social media. It's because even though I've muted him I could still see the post he likes which triggered a lot of anxiety
I think you need to work on yourself and stop focusing on your ex. He obviously still cares but was respectful of your boundaries
Yes you're right. I've been focusing on myself but saw some things that lead me to block him and set me back on my healing process.
you’re still processing it. maybe give yourself space from even indirect updates hearing through friends just keeps reopening the wound.
i blocked my ex too but he still found ways to check up on me through friends. it messes with your head, huh?
