Seriously , How long does it take to get over your ex. Together for 16 years- He has moved on with a new girlfriend who was much younger and prettier than me, He’s replaced me and it kills me. I’m doing everything I can but I cannot accept his new relationship. I do still see him daily as we live on the same property. everything is killing me inside, How long will it take until I accept this and Mo and get over him?

she can b younger then u but she is not prettier then u! 16 years is a long time to let go of anything. but since u still gotta look at him everyday start focusing on self improvement, upgrade ur appearance to boost ur self esteem. he won't be able to help but notice u. then go get u a boy toy!
are you able to have any small moments away from him each day, even just a bit of distance or distraction? sometimes that tiny space helps the pain breathe.
treat yourself as your best friend. write down all the reasons why the person is not right for you. be your best friend and do it. now keep it at a place where you can see it daily if required
from my experience, accepting someone else’s happiness takes MONTHS. try small boundaries for yourself even if you can’t move completely away yet. your heart needs space too
