Yesterday we were just texting and out of nowhere she said “Baby this whole situation is really not working out. We’re long distance with an age gap and deep down I knew this day might come but not so suddenly not like this.
It hurts more than I can put into words. I wanted us to work so badly. She told me “This relationship brings more stress than it’s worth and now I’m facing my first real heartbreak. I’ve never been this close to someone before and it feels like the ground has been pulled out from under me.
The sadness is overwhelming and the thought that this pain might last forever makes it even worse. I asked her if she was really ending things over text so we’re supposed to call tomorrow but deep down I know it’s over. I know her too well.
Sometimes I wish I had never met her never heard her say she liked me because then I wouldn’t be feeling this way. This heartbreak is brutal and having it happen as an adult is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
