How do you calm down on crying crisis? for me they can last the full day, with some pauses, sometimes it gets too hard. it's strong heartache, a mix with dépression and just a panic of the tragedy of having lost the person of my life ( I broke up because I couldn't stay in the relationship anymore) but I almost feel like I am detoxing from a drugs an needing contavt when I am in the state of crying it's like stress and panic. How do you calm your self and how to have this épisodes less frecuently?. I am taking valium, but when I am back home alone or I am eating it hutd me again and I can't control it. Spending time with people makes it wost. I'm holding the crying all the time to not break and also I am absent and it makes me feel even more different because my friends are "happy". So when I got back home its even worst than when I stay all along.

when the crying peaks, is it more about missing them specifically, or the panic of being alone with all the feelings at once
i stopped trying to calm down completely. i focused on making it a tiny bit safer. sitting on the floor, slow breaths, letting myself cry without fighting it. resisting made it louder
i had full-day crying spirals too, like my body was panicking without permission. the “detoxing from a drug” feeling is REAL. i needed contact so badly it scared me you’re not broken.
i know it sounds funny but please listen to me, watch Sex and the city. It goes thought diferent kinds of breakups and it has really help me a lot
Does this really help a lot?? What kind of breakups can I expect to see, and do any of the relationships actually work out??
@WildChill500 it has lot to do with friendships and romantic love. There are good and bad breakups. The show focus a lot in what they are thinking and why. It helped me with overthinking. I really thing you should give it a try. There's nothing to lose <3
funny, I actually started watching Smallville... because it's bringing me back to teenage times (Im 35yo) and its not related to relationships at much as it's fantastic so I just feel fully numb after crying and I put it and it just keeps me like.. distracted and not solicited my brain or feelings much. sex and the city I love it but it will remind me of relationships tho :) but its a food advice thank you
I feel you so bad right now, I'm living the same. I think you should try to find something to occupy your mind like a new hobby or something like that yk. Or do something that make you happy, for me is hanging out with my friends, listening music or volleyball. Don't worry you'll move on one day or another, wish you the bestt
