this is really grounding. when you think about your ex now, what memory comes up first. the good one or the one you keep pushing away
i love this reminder. when i miss them, i try to pause and ask myself, am i missing the person or the feeling i used to have. usually it’s the memory, not the future
missing my ex so bad and realizing i wasn’t missing him, i was missing who i thought he was. my heart kept looping old highlights while ignoring the mess.
