i had to stop attaching meaning to the silence. no message doesn’t automatically mean i didn’t matter. it just meant he stayed consistent with who he’s been.
birthdays during no contact are BRUTAL. mine was day 18 and i kept checking my phone even though i told myself i wouldn’t. when nothing came through, it felt like this tiny extra rejection on top of everything. i’m really glad your friends and family showed up for you though ❤️ that matters more than we admit.
