i actually think it’s okay to feel a little relieved he didn’t answer. sometimes no response keeps the no contact cleaner, even if we technically “broke”

i’d get mad thinking about the past, spiral, text him just to feel something… then sit there staring at my phone. when he didn’t reply it lowkey hurt but also? it protected me. sometimes their silence saves us from reopening the wound.
