what do you miss the most right now, is it them or the way you felt when things were good?

i know it sounds simple but i had to stop reaching for them in my head every time i missed her, i started letting the feeling pass without acting on it. it didn’t fix it overnight but it helped me breathe again.

i used to sit there missing someone who hurt me too, like how can both things exist at once. it’s such a confusing kind of pain.
