some heartbreak cuts deeper when your ex isn’t just gone they’ve already moved on with someone else.
it’s not just missing them it’s seeing someone else get the time attention and closeness you still wish was yours.
that kind of pain can make you secretly hope their new relationship doesn’t last. not out of cruelty but because a part of you is still in love and can’t accept that it might really be over.
i’ve seen this up close through working with people dealing with heartbreak and reconciliation and i know how heavy and private that feeling can be.
more people feel this than they ever say out loud.

I don’t want them back, I want an apology for destroying our family. I want them to have sobriety. Obviously they had multiple partners at the same time and I figured it out. I told everyone, not one single one knew.
That’s life unfortunately but if they got with someone else then came running back that’s a automatic no. Something about that rubs me the wrong way.
That would totally break me and that's why I removed anyone related to him from my social medias. I don't want to see when someone posts a photo or something of him and the new one, I know I wouldn't handle it well at all.
