it's been a week since break up... feels like an eternity. I've been trying to make new friends but the friendships feel very surface level. been also job hunting, and looking up local events. I've been depressed (been depressed since before the break up, but my needs are never met). still trekking on... painfully

Heartbreak can make everything feel slower and heavier but the fact that you’re still trying shows how resilient you are. You’re doing your best and that’s enough.
It’s okay to feel the weight of everything right now. You’re trying to rebuild and that process takes time. Be patient with yourself you’re doing great.
Breakups and depression are a heavy combo but you’re still moving forward even if it’s painful. Give yourself credit for not giving up.
It’s hard to feel like your needs aren’t being met. You deserve kindness and understanding from yourself just as much as from others. Keep trekking, one day at a time.👍
It’s tough when everything feels surface level after a breakup but those small steps you’re taking will build into something meaningful. Hang in there.
A week feels like forever when you're hurting. You're doing so much making friends job hunting looking for events and even though it's painful you're pushing through. That takes strength.
May be Take some time to be with those feelings and see If you can detach your personal story and imagination from it , You will realise that may be these feelings can be used to fuel a bigger purpose.May be the depression was always there and this whole fantasy is just a way to avoid it which one has been practicing for Long.
Hang in there, even if it feels like a slog. You're doing all the right things, even if it doesn't feel like it right now. Sending good vibes your way. ❤️
