he got what he wanted both ways. quiet from you, attention for him. it’s a weird move.
mine did something like that. i remember being so confused, not knowing if i was supposed to respond or just wait. it messed with my head more than silence would’ve.
my ex did that too. said he needed space then blew up my phone like i owed him attention without getting any back. it’s not space, it’s power.
That doesn't sound like space to me. It sounds to me like he is overthinking and is afraid that you will detach or want more space after the 3 days
