sounds like you’re testing yourself against his eyes, not your own. like you want his reaction more than your own reflection.

i get it. after my breakup i kept posting pictures just hoping he’d see i was ok. it wasn’t about the world, just him.

i felt that too. it pissed me off honestly. like why do i even care if he sees me smiling or not. i wanted him to regret it, that’s what it was.
