back to 1 week of no contact. when he said he doesn’t want to rush into giving me an answer to us trying again why is he still holding on then? he’d like to stay as friends but i told him i can’t. so i stepped back and haven’t responded since. on the same day he slid a note in my maibox that says “i would’ve loved for us to stay in touch at least.” why stay in touch if you don’t even want to talk?you suddenly acted so cold and distant after reaching out and emotional dumped on me. he also still checks my tt profile. why won’t he come clean and let go of me if he clearly doesn’t want me anymore?

my ex did the same said he “didn’t want to lose me” but also didn’t want me. it’s like they crave our comfort but not the commitment
