The only way my ex and I talk about problems is over text why he can’t do it in person or at least over the phone I do not know. we even broke up over text so my question for yall. I really need to here that he wants this over out of his mouth and not over text should I try to reach out? part of me says no don’t break no contact and the other part tells me I really just need to here it and maybe that will help with me moving on what do yall think?

do you think hearing it from him would actually give you peace, or would it just reopen that wound again?
if he wanted to say it out loud, he would’ve. i get needing that “final word,” but sometimes silence is the answer. what helped me was accepting that i might never get closure from him, only from myself.
my ex did the same always hiding behind texts when things got real. i remember begging for a real convo just to feel some closure. it’s such a helpless spot to be in
it’s not worth breaking NC for this!! he didn’t respect you enough to speak to you in person about it, he couldn’t face you. Don’t waste any longer on him - you’re worth more than that
