it’s pretty much been a month since my broke it off with me. Today I decided to break no contact and asked him if he would like to get a coffee sometime. He agreed but said he doesn’t want to talk about anything deep. Is this a good sign, I’m really nervous for it to happen

If he said he does wanna talk anything deep then it means he doesn't wanna remembered everything from the past at all. I would say ummm a grey sign i guess? See where things will goes from there but don't initiate too much. See whether he puts on any efforts afterwards
how are you honestly feeling about seeing him? like deep down, are you hoping it leads somewhere or just wanting some comfort right now?
if it were me, i’d go in super light. no expectations, no “what are we” talk, just see how it feels to be in the same space again. sometimes that clarity hits harder than any convo.
personally I wouldn’t go. knowing myself if I was in that situation I would lose all progress I’ve made in moving on.
one time my ex broke it because he thought meeting once in a while and not having real deep talk would be nice. then he cancelled it a day before the meeting date. i’d say don’t get your hopes up, they can switch up anytime. it’s ok to hold on to a glimpse of hope, just don’t give your all
