when to move on

Author

I know he wasn't good for me. I ignored so many red flags & I've recently had someone show real interest but when is it ok to move on?

I don't want to start something as a rebound. I know what I deserve and want to love properly & this new person was a surprise but I don't want to ruin it

for context nothing has happened with the new person. we're just chatting

i letting myself feel things without rushing into a label. you don’t owe anyone speed. if it’s right, they’ll still be there when you’re ready.

do you feel like you still have emotional leftovers from the last relationship, or is it more fear of messing up something good?

i jumped into something too fast after my ex with all his red flags and it messed with my head. it’s so weird when someone healthy shows up after chaos. it’s like your heart doesn’t know how to trust happy things

there is no timeframe to move on. follow your heart but also protect it. everyone will have an opinion on someone else's life but at the end of the day it's yours. get to know eachother to make sure it's right for you then take it from there. good luck 🤞🏽
