i check if i’m answering from guilt or from genuine calm. you don’t owe him emotional CPR if it’s gonna break you again.
I feel bad for him
i’ve been in that spot before, where an ex reached out only when life hit him hard. it messed with my head because i still cared, but i also knew how much he’d hurt me. it’s such a confusing ache.
Did you break up with him or did he break up with you? If he broke up with you, then he should not expect you to be there for him when he needs someone.
