How do you refrain from texting him during the no contact period?

when you feel like texting him, is it because you miss him or because you miss feeling understood by someone?

when that urge hits, i usually just write the message in my notes instead. gets it out of my head without actually opening that door again.

i used to stare at my phone like “just one message won’t hurt” even though i knew it would wreck me again. it’s like your heart forgets what your brain already knows

My situation's a little different.We have an eleven year old daughter, so there has to be a little bit contact.But it's hard for me to not send like past pictures that pop up in my memory thing.And I still send them, I don't know

Maybe write it out in your notes and keep a file for just him say how you feel, and then let it go

I just go back until I’m too tired and broken to go back. I don’t refrain myself, if I want to say something I’ll say it. Even if they never answer, at least I said what I wanted him to know.

Just try to focus on yourself do thinks with youre friend and let it hurt. maybe it might help you to block him but than he cant text you either. I think that is something you just let it to hurt you. I wrote many times, that if he would want to text, he could. It is his fault and he must text first. If he don't, you have youre answer and you cant fix the relationship by yourself. You need to work together and if he cant do this right now or cant do this ever than it is what it is. you deserve better at this point
