he wanted to go home to be unemployed while I stayed at the ski town we met at. we lasted a week before the lack of reassurance and talking about being together again never happened. the no contact is hard now because we could never have a face to face in the end. feels open ended. I’m on day one and hoping to stay strong for as long as possible. shouldn’t have had to beg to feel apart of a partnership

staying no contact is brutal at first, but it really helps you stop replaying “what ifs.” even small distractions matter.
i’ve been there 😭 my ex left town too and we never got closure. the open-endedness just eats at you, huh?
I am so sorry you didn’t get a face to face. I am healing from another breakup now but I also didn’t get the face to face closure from my ex-husband. People tell me that the closure comes from within you, not the other person. Hang in there.
know the feeling but if you reconsider you may get the reason behind his ignorance. Hope is still alive,don't lose your ego if he's not worth it
