What activities / hobbies do you have that keep you busy from thinking about them, about relationships & breakup?

I listen to music, watch series and I used to love crocheting... lately I don't have enough time for that though.

after my breakup i rotated between music on repeat and mindless shows just to quiet my brain. i also loved drawing, then life got busy and i felt like i “lost” that part of me for a while. it sucked

I play pool, I take guitar lessons, I go out with friends, and when I'm bored at home, I do crossword puzzles. I obsessively follow politics, which is not good for my mental health.

I find tht keeping busy at work left no room for my mind to think and wander. thts at least 8 hrs tht has nothing to do wit them. keep busy, get a side hustle and make getting money ur priority and main focus, not them.

Honestly a lot of my friends like to read webnovels so I've taken to downloading some apps where I can read for a bit. That way I don't have to carry a book on hand at all times and for the most part the novels are free. Tbf though there is a lot of "slop" to dig through but honestly I find that kind of stuff enjoyable as well.

also I've been going on walks everyday, it's good for your overall health and it makes me feel relaxed instead of staying inside

What I also found enjoyable was whenever I'm having the worst time I start building legoes and it works very well to take your mind off of things

@Gabriele it is really fun! I only do it when I need to take my mind off of things, it does help me get my mind off of stuff

what sometimes helps is going to the gym it gets your stress and thoughts of of your shoulders
