he dumped me while I was at my worst
did they support you before leaving, or did they kind of check out emotionally and then blame it all on your mental health
i was dumped with the whole “i can’t handle your mental health” speech and it DESTROYED me. it felt like being told my pain made me unlovable. that shame stuck longer than the breakup
well my advice probably wouldn’t help but I could offer the perspective of someone who broke up with someone due to mental health struggles

I'm fine with my mental health though. But just in case I'm waiting in line to see a therapist for the first time in my life.
My advice? Live for yourself. If you're gonna work on your mental health, do it for you & because you want it, not for anyone else.
Yeh she left me to work on hers. Never got it personally.
